ACHIEVING EXCELLENCE

Achieving Excellence is a tiered achievement-based program that recognizes activities in which Inns are already involved and builds on an Inn's successes.

Each level recognizes an Inn's progress toward mastering effective practices in each of the five core competencies of Inn management: Administration, Communications, Program Development, Mentoring and Outreach Activities.

The Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court began its pursuit of Platinum Distinction in the 2015-2016 program year, under the presidency of Hon. Carol Codrington. In this first year, our Inn was awarded Silver Distinction for Achieving Excellence. In the 2016-2017 program year, under the presidency of Jeremy Hanson, our Inn was awarded Bronze Distinction for Achieving Excellence. In the 2017-2018 program year, under the presidency of Hon. Jacqueline Jackson, our Inn was awarded Silver Distinction for Achieving Excellence.

The Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court achieved Platinum Distinction in the 2018-2019 program year, under the presidency of L. Alexandra Fong and has maintained the status in each successive program year.

 The fiscal year for the Deegan Inn of Court is July 1 to June 30.
