March 25, 2026 dinner Meeting and Presentation

At the March 25, 2026 Dinner Meeting, President of the Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court (“Deegan Inn”), Gabriel “Gabe” White, welcomed all new and returning members to the Inn. The meeting was held at our regular location, Loft 84, and was preceded with a social where the members mingled.

Gabe reminded Inn members that the Deegan Inn is always looking for new members to join, in any area of law. The April 22, 2026 meeting is geared towards potential new members that current Inn members can invite.

The presenting team presented on “Follow the Yellow Brick Road… Through the History of Riverside” where constitutional law and civility in the legal profession were discussed. Their theme was “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum and all members of the team dressed as characters from the book.

Each table had decorations themed after the book.

Each team was sent on a scavenger hunt down the Yellow Brick Road to learn about interesting historical and constitutional aspects of the City of Riverside.

Then a quiz was provided to see what each team learned during the presentation.

At the conclusion of the presentation, Deegan Inn members were invited to score the presentation from a ranking of 1 (worst) to 5 (best). The team and winning presentation will be announced at the September 2026 Orientation Meeting.
