May 27, 2026 Dinner Meeting, Awards Presentation and Team Presentation
At the May 27, 2026 Dinner Meeting, President of the Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court (“Deegan Inn”), Gabriel “Gabe” White, welcomed all new and returning members to the Inn. The meeting was held at our usual location at Loft 84, conveniently located in Downtown Riverside.
Gabe advised the members that there are two (2) open Board positions for the Deegan Inn, an attorney board member and a judicial officer board member. Please send your interest / nomination to Gabe via email. An email will go out to the membership by the end of the week.
Gabe announced the winner of the Biddle Book Award, Shane Duncombe of Duncombe Law. Unfortunately, Shane was not present to accept his two books “The Good Lawyer” and “The Happy Lawyer.” Congratulations Shane!
Gabe then announced the winner of The Terry Bridges Outstanding Attorney Award, by providing a short introduction into this attorney’s accomplishments and professionalism within the community. The recipient of The Terry Bridges Outstanding Attorney Award for the 2025-2026 program year is Abram Feuerstein, Assistant U .S. Trustee for the Central District of California. Congratulations Abe!

The Community Service Team then began its presentation about the community service projects that the members of the team completed throughout the 2025-2026 program year. This included raising funds for the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center in Riverside, speaking with students at multiple schools and universities about the legal profession, and volunteering to assist Emeritus Member L. Alexandra Fong, Chair of the Project Graduate Steering Committee, with the joint Riverside County Bar Foundation, Inc. and Project Graduate Fundraiser in Spring 2026.
