At the March 25, 2026 Dinner Meeting, President of the Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court (“Deegan Inn”), Gabriel “Gabe” White, welcomed all new and returning members to the Inn. The meeting was held at our regular location, Loft 84, and was preceded with a social where the members mingled.

Gabe reminded Inn members that the Deegan Inn is always looking for new members to join, in any area of law. Tonight’s meeting is geared towards potential new members that current Inn members invited.

At the Deegan Inn’s April 22 dinner meeting, we departed from our usual format of a team presentation in favor of a guest speaker and social. Prospective members mingled with current Inn members, including Judicial Masters. 

Attorney and mediator Marc Kaplan told us war stories of “Lawyers Behaving Badly,” reviewed some of the case law addressing uncivil behavior by attorneys, and advised us on how to deal with it when we come across attorneys who have not bought in to the Inn’s core values of civility and professionalism.  Inn members were joined by a number of guests, potential new recruits who we hope will join us as members in our next program year.
