September 23, 2026 Orientation

On the evening of September 23rd, the Leo A. Deegan Inn of Court held its yearly orientation meeting at the RCBA’s Gabbert Gallery.  New and returning members enjoyed an informal social hour, just getting to know one another over light refreshments. 

Current President Hon. John Vineyard welcomed all members to the meeting and thanked the Inn’s past-president, Gabriel White for his leadership during the 2025-2026 Program Year. Returning Judicial Master, Hon. Randall Stamen, spoke to the membership about the history of the Deegan Inn. For additional information about Judge Deegan, please see here.

The theme for the 2026-2027 Program Year was unveiled…..The Stages of a Trial.

The winning team for the 2025-2026 Program Year was announced. Congratulations Team Barbara Jordan and team members Hon. Laurie Burns, Hon. Joshlyn Pulliam, Marlene Allen Murray, Diana Renteria, Lauren Cohen, Goushia Farook, Danielle Linker, Dawn Saenz, Howard Leslie Hoffenberg, Patricia Nance who presented in October 2025 on Shel Silverstein’s “The Giving Tree.”
